What a moron. You obviously had a flush, all that betting on the turn and river was horrible on his part.

Now, be nice. These people truely are a blessing...

I think my flop play confused him. Not many players check/raise a flush + gutshot draw on the flop. I wouldn't have put me on a flush until I 3-bet the turn.

UTG+2: "dammit, lucky turn for you. f**king chasers!!!"

FNORD: "yeah, i sure did get lucky, you're the one that played it well. maybe you can offer some pointers 'cause you seem pretty good."

UTG+2: "ummmm, yeah, ahh thanks. sure, i'll try to help you."

these "comments" echo a chat i had with someone playing omaha hi/lo last night after i scooped "his" pot with a boat over his flush (no lo). he then went on to offer suggestions on my play and we became the best of friends.

i hate what i have become to escape what i hated being...

More like:

...but I flopped a straight damnit!

Capping the turn + river was just silly.

It's a great feeling whensomes raiseing on the river when you hold the "pure nuts". I had someone 3bet me the other day on the river when I had quad 3s
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .

he was probably tilting. we've all been there. yesterday, I flopped two full houses ten minutes apart; they both got outdrawn, after large bets, by someone holding an overpair.

I once had someone raise me ~15 times at the river when I had flopped the nut flush and bet/reraised it from early position, I have never heard so much complaining and telling me how I should have slow played. He had flopped 2nd set, thought I was betting hard to push out the flush draws. Its always nice when the loser is trying to advise you on how your supposed to play.
Is that guy still part of the forum??

How do you bet someone off the pot in a limit game when they have around 30% or more pot equity in addition to implied pot odds?
