PS is now offering 8-game, which rotates, like HORSE, through these games: Triple Draw, HE, OHL, Razz, 7Stud, Stud HL, NLHE, and PLOmaha High. There are regular and turbo versions and it's a blast to play. If you have been expanding on your poker skills with additional games, you will definitely have an edge. The addition of NLHE and PLO have a way of helping knock out more players quickly, so that, by the time that Triple Draw comes around again, the blinds are high and there are few left.
Double-or-Nothing. These come in PLO and NLHE versions. The first few days were a donkfest on both (and a cash machine), but most people have settled down on the NL, even at the low levels. PLO-- not so much, as not many people really get how to play PL Omaha high. The deal is that, on a 10 person table, 5 people lose and 5 win double the main amount (excluding the house amount, of course.) It is a ton easier to stay in to 5th place, and there is no battling it out for 1st-- the game is over when down to 5. So--- quick and still relatively easy. Not so much bang for your buck, but they run less time, and your odds are better that you will make money.
If you have played either of these, how do you like them?

I've probably played 50 of the 8-game sng's, they are very soft at low-small stakes, the bubble is a little difficult when it lands on a stud variation game.
There is a thread in the sng forum I believe about the double-or-nothing sng's.

I have played a bunch of 8 game turbo Sngs at the 13 and 25 buy in level, they are pretty soft but take forever to fill up.
Most of the people suck at one or more games, so if you have a decent grasp on all of them you are in a very good position at them. If you suck at one or two of them but are aware of it and know to stay out of the trouble there you are also in a very good starting point

Glad you posted this. I wanted to give the double or nothing a try, but haven't been playing much recently so forgot about them.
Maybe they'll added double or nothing PLO8, as I'm probably real close to being one of those people that "doesn't really get how to play PL O high"

After playing 2 or 3 of these a couple weeks ago, I withdraw my enthusiasm for them. Probably just b/c I ran bad (plus some poor play that certainly did not help), but I'm done with those for now. Maybe I'll revisit them in the future.
