If it's any comfort, -$200 is a very small swing for 3/6.

I hear the PS limit games are tough to beat, and that can't help...

First hand in 23 lose with flopped set. Should have raise the flop but as it turned out he would called anyway since he was the bettor.

Dude, that must have been a really big mirror you broke...

You played it fine. I don't think you really want to risk a capped flop with pocket 9s.

BTW, been there before...

I'm 16 for 23 with Kings in limit and I play against players that chase with all kinds of crap. True AA and KK go down in value, but AK goes up in value.

BTW, maybe with a clearer head you would be able to fold that turkey before the river...

BTW2, why aren't you playing the .5/1 or 2/4 at Party?

16/23 is interesting, slightly better than 2/3. It really sucks when you get a nice hand like KK, get your money into the pot and then lose it almost 1/3rd of the time but I guess that's poker.

Gotta look at it a couple ways...

First, I often get mulitple loose calls against my Cowboys, so when they hold up I get much better than even money. Second, I'm better than them at sucking out against their Cowboys when they just check+call all the way to the river.

Oh, and I'm 18 for 26 with Rockets...

Wow SCGolfer that really sux dude, I've been there before and I know it it really hurts, plays on your mind all day.

I think if you are going to continue playing you should drop down in limits and try to build your BR back up. If you play on that limit you are going to chase your losses and go deeper and deeper down. Drop down and reset the win/losses to zero and just try to become a profitable player again. Every month take out half of your profit to pay back the poker loan to yourself.

Hope it all goes well whatever you decide to do.
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .

hey golfer,

don't give up, and take some time off. go to your happy place, collect your thoughts, and come back fresh.

it's just a bad swing.

you can't quit - the ftr tourney wouldn't be the same without you.

if you keep playing, i'll give you a "fishstick month pass" - that's a whole month of no insults or hassles from fishstick (i've always got toasty and jm to keep me busy ).

that's a bargain at any price! :P
