Hi Guys, I am posting a long post so you know the background and give me appropriate good advice.

I play online on party 0.5-1$ exclusively. Not that good of a player but not very horrible either (about +1.3 BB/100 hands over a sample of 22000 hands).

Started to go down to local B&M casino to play 2-4$ limit and the type of players I see in that limit is pure fishy. Rarely i come across a table aggressive good players. Mostly they are loose passive.

Since 5-6 people call almost every flop, my broadway pairs RARELY hold up because 2 pair, straights and flushes are the usual winning hands. that got me thinking to ask for you guys advice to proper strategy to win these LOOSE games.

1) Should I limp in with suited connectors and suited 1 or 2 gaps (as low as even 5-7s) REGARDLESS OF POSITION. Since almost all the cases they are not raised and even when rarely raised and still most people in, is it +EV play ? I never play unsuited connectors (below 10) or any paint with below 10 kicker(unraised). But what i have seen is people take in pots after pots beating my TPTK every single day, 2wice on sunday.

So if i have the discipline to get away on flop, is it +EV to put 1 bet with any suited connectors, suited 1 gap, suited 2 gap, Kxs, Qxs, Axs.

its not only a matter of discipline. I have it but get frustrated when I play say 3-4 hands an hour and get big premium cards, doesnt hit shit on flop or turn and have to lay it down or someone makes 2 pair, straight, flush on my TPTK or

2) is raising with 10-10, JJ a +EV play here. A raise never knocks out Kx, Ax, Qx and so as soon as an overcard shows up on flop or turn or river, you get beat while betting all the way ? and i have seen it happening a LOT . I got QQ 6 times day before yesterday (an anomaly) and won only 1 time when i hit my set on turn.

Any other advice would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

P.S. The games in these casino in 2-4$ is VERY LOOSE. examples as in SSh "if you bet it here, you might win it right there," rarely HAPPENS. People will chase middle pair shitty kicker, gutshot draws, all the way till the river.

Also, check raise only works if you didnt raise PFR. if you raised PFR, and you check it could very well be checked all around. maybe if you check 2 streets then someone will bet but by that time its probably too late.

Here's a good starter for hand selection for the kind of table you are playing: http://www.lowlimitholdem.com/starti...selections.htm

Theoretically you can play such crap as 57o even in middle position if the table is absolutely ideal for that kind of play ... by ideal I mean average 6+ to see the flop, almost never less than 4 to see the flop, and less than 20% of the time does anyone raise preflop. If someone raises, you would still call, but your odds just got shot. I have been at tables like this, but it is rare to have enough calling and noone ever raising. Basically, you want to be a tight player in early position, fairly tight in middle position, and loose in late position. Don't play the crappy hands in late position without a lot of limpers. If only 3 people limp and you are on the button, fold that Qxs or 75o.

To beat these tables you have to beat them at their own game. You are going to play much of the crap that they play, but not all the crap they play. You are going to pay attention to position when they don't. And you aren't going to make the stupid plays of staying in with middle pair or a pair of Aces with a 5 kicker.

You want to play to flop a monster. You are going to be playing mostly connectors and one gappers and any pocket pair unless in early position. You are looking to flop sets, straights, flushes, OESD and flush draws. And of course 2pair. With little resistance you should call down with TPTK, and bet if you are in late position and all check to you.

You asked about JJ and TT. I would add QQ to these and play all of them more like you would play 88 ... you want to flop a set and probably don't want to raise preflop. You still want to raise QQ preflop, but I really don't think raising JJ and TT is a good idea ... like you said, no one folds because of the raise, and a lot of those people are playing any qx, kx, Ax. The odds of a Q,K, or A showing up on the board are very high, so if you don't get the set, you are probably lost. An exception would be you are button, SB, or BB and everyone has limped.

There is a reason you don't play 2 or 3 gappers. The odds are much better you will get the sucker straight. If you play a 3gapper, and you get the straight, there is always a better straight possible. You don't play any 2 suited, because without the added possibility of a straight it isn't worth it unless you are in the SB limping to many limpers, or the BB calling a raise to many callers.

Don't play hands like 65 or lower offsuit or 42s or 32s. This is because often your straight draws are to the low side and with the example of 32s, say you flop a 3 and a 2 for 2pair, any pair on the board is going to counterfeit you.

Make sure your draws are good ones with good odds. Don't draw to the low end of a straight. If you have a 4 and 567 flops, fold! When you play Axs and Kxs and you hit the A or K with no flush draw, fold. It is better to hit your 2 and have a back door flush draw with A2s then it is to hit the A and not have any flush draw. Also, don't be a wimp with your crappy flushes. If you make the flush on the river, bet. Even if you have 53! Most of the time noone will have a flush. Also, don't be a wimp when 3 of a suit come out and you have a good hand like a set. People will call you, but they won't bet, and odds are less than even that someone has the flush even if they all saw the flop. One more thing ... keep an eye out for the good players at the table. Notice how they play and notice how much they fold after the flop ... be very careful when they see the turn or river when it is not for free. Also be aware that the good player is probably the only one you can bluff and that he is also the probably the only one who is watching you!

One more thing ... when in doubt, fold before the flop, call on the flop, fold on the turn, and call on the river.

Hope this helps. I have played these kinds of tables at local casinos, and they are very very beatable. And I know this is all bad advice against good players, but it works very well on the super loose, super passive table.
