If you don't have a lot of experience you really should drop down to at least the Party 2/4 game. You can't mindlessly value bet and actually have to play poker with most of the 5/10 crowd.

I am no expert but I think you have to call that flop raise. It is something like 13:1 pot odds... and you have two high over. Then fold to the turn.

The last hand you have to bet the flop, smells like a flush draw, I would bet the river.

1. Get a pad of sticky notes.
2. Write "Bet the River" on one of them.
3. Put it next to your monitor.

Hand 1: Looks g00t to me.
Hand 2: Looks g00t to me.
Hand 3: Between the chance you're already beat and the chance of getting outdrawn, need a bigger pot or strong read to call that down or make a play. AK will play that flop fast too often to bet/fold.
Hand 4: See "Why you suck at LHE"
Hand 5: No fucking way I fold.
Hand 6: Really bad flop fold. You have outs to the wheel.
Hand 7: Bet the river.

5/10 will murder you.

In reference to hand #4 and your list Fnord I have not been cold calling anything... If it isn't strong enough to raise, I drop it. Is that a good strat until I get my first 30K or so hands in?

If it's offsuit and unpaired you shouldn't be cold calling.

Whatever man.

Anyway, if it's like 4+ way raised to you in LP you're throwing away money folding TT-77, AJs and KQs for 2sb.

So you meant offsuit OR unpaired. Thought you were being sarcastic with the first one...

Nope, that's an AND operator there. I know my boolean logic...

Sorry, gotcha now... Damn this language. I flipped it around to read "only call if it's suited and paired"

done with this stupidity now....

Believe me, you HARDLY get these cards with 4+way in LP.... I think the only chance i've had to cold call is with AJs my last 5k hands or, and I did hit a flush with it.

How about TT and 99 vs a limited field? Isnt it possible you could win a pot with all unders flopped? TT is a usual three bet for me, but 99 i'm a little torn.

It's close. Although I'd rather have TT 2 or 3 way or 8+ way than anything in between.
