I agree. It took me many months to learn this ability, but I think I've finally got it down.

Here is where I start to think I don't have the best hand......6 handed for 3 bets after a flop like that? Are your opps ALL tools? What are you drawing to here besides a 3rd queen? What would all your opps reasonably raise/call 3 bets with on a flop like 7/5/5? Again, if the answer to that is absolutely anything, fine. If not, I think you have to give at least one credit for trips and/or higher pocket pair.

Sometimes it's tough but you have to lay the queens down....

AK is a legitimate three-betting hand.

I agree, if it's 3 handed and there's only 1 bet in front of me. Hell, on this flop, QQ is a definite capping hand 3 handed.

But this pot is 3 bets, 6 handed. Again, either all of your opps are complete morons, or someone has you drawing to two outs.

Against two reraises after your opening bet on the flop I think I'm dropping this. With KK, that decision becomes much harder. At this level, with that many people playing and the board pairing, I'm looking for a way out. It's frustrating as hell to think the big blind is calling a raise with 75o but at this level "Any hand can win!!!" Just remember in the long run this guy is paying you.

Here is where I lay this down. I just don't see myself making this laydown on the flop. Too much stupid stuff goes on in big pots with small bets.

SB checks, MP1 checks, Hero checks, MP3 bets, CO calls, SB raises, MP1 calls, QQ is no g00t.

ah ok. I figured that my only mistake was calling the river bet, I just got fixated on the pot being so big relative to the bet - i guess that's just nl talking.

And, basically you're saying that this is the proper way to have played this hand?

ok i will. at first, i honestly was just playing limit because i had played maybe 40 hands of it and was down 20 bucks in .5/1 and 20 bucks in 2/4. I didn't like the red in my pokertracker, so I figured I'd get it back into the green, and I realized that is easier said than done, so now i'm thinking maybe i'll play a little 2/4 to try to at least be competent in limit.

Funny thing about NL players playing limit. Often they make much bling and have trouble going back...

I won less money when I got a straight flush... probably because my opponents just check/called to the end
