I just wanted to play some omaha pot limit for fun, and I came across an interesting hand. My question is how poorly I played this one.

My 999JJ full house lost to a JJJTT full house. There were four clubs on the board, and I thought he might have been betting a nut flush.

Bad beat or just a stupid play on my part? Would you have played it the same?

The under-full and/or bottom set is a sucker hand in pot limit omaha. I would call it down.

Yes. In omaha PL you are looking for the nuts, period. Don't draw to anything that isn't the nuts. This gets a bit more advanced later on, like situations where you might draw for the hi and low (in 8 or better) or where you are drawing to say Q or J high flush and -multiple- straight draws...

but for now, if you aren't drawing for the nuts, call or fold

Looks like you got trapped in the hand just a bit. I agree that calling down was the best. Don't aggressively play an underfull in Omaha because you'll only get action from hands that beat you.
