Villian is same 70/15 knucke-dragger from the last post. I went for the trifecta in check-raises here, hoping he'd put me on some kind of insane bluff but he wouldn't go for it. Given that he called the turn c/r i have to think i missed some value by not betting out the river?

Correct. Once he calls the turn he's going to pay off a river bet nearly always, and almost never bet if you check.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
