Hi Folks
Been back at it for about a month now and doing OK at 10/20 6H.
I have been trying to avoid the multi-tablers, but then had a change of heart. I noticed that a few folks were playing 6 or more tables. Now I'm thinking that 6 tables 6 handed is like playing 10-12 tables full ring.
Anyway, I found that these guys for the most part are playing ABC TAG poker.
But, they don't defend blinds well, and they don't attack blinds well - They fold to a raise regularly, and when they raise I take it to mean business based on what they are showing down. Also, they seldom cold-call, and it is much easier to put them on a range of hands.
Anyway, if I can find a seat that will put me on the button when one of these guys is in the BB, I take it.
Anyone else noticing that when someone is playing lots of tables short-handed, that there is actually an advantage to be at their table?

Its very similar to rock-ish poker. Having these guys on your left are a definate plus and when combined with fish on your right it works great.
Nice to see you back.

I really think this depends on lots of stuff. If you have solid prove I.E. stats from Poker Ace showing that this multitabler doesn't defend a lot from his BB then fine.
I doubt that you can make this general statement since a player who is succesful playing 6 tables of 6max surely have experience with defending his BB. I'd much rather have a random lag or lap in the BB when I'm on button

Hi Stinky
I'm pretty sure that these players have both the experience and ability to defend his blinds based not only on his cards, but on reads of his attackers.
My point is that I doubt they have the "time" to play much else but the cards.
I have only 700 hands on one of these guys, but here are some stats on him
Folded to SB steal att 88%
Folded to BB steal att 82%
Folded to BB steal HU 87%
Based on the above, the button is a cozy spot against this guy.

Beautiful. Steal with any 2 against this guy if the SB is tight.

When you are wrong you are wrong a gotta admit it. And I will on this one. I simply hadden't givin it enough thoughts or perhaps misunderstood something.
If I'm going to steal a lot I'd much prefer someone who will drop his hand right away instead of a random lag whom I'll have a hard time to put on a hand and whom will call my continueation bet very often leaving me on a sick turn decission.
The hands you steal with should be very dependent on the player sitting in BB.
@ Arctic night. Thats just super stats to have in your BB I mean you'll profit from raising any two in this spot.
