I realize a lot of these hands show very passive behavior...I picked some of them because sometimes I'm beaten badly and other times I win with the crap hand I've been calling down with. I seem to have a little trouble with when to turn on the aggression, when to call down and when to just fold.

Hand 1: Fold to the flop cap
Hand 2: Quit being a wuss and raise this flop!
Hand 3: Not even remotely close to the same as hand 2, I hope you can see why. Fold the flop.
Hand 4: Looks good. Gotta hate the turn K.
Hand 5: Why are you possibly calling here? No pair, no draw, likely to be dominated...just let it go.
Hand 6: I don't like the river bet...
Hand 7: Tough one...You are beat almost for sure, but it's a pretty big pot, so I think you almost have to call, but with the right read on UTG+1, I am folding the river.
Hand 8: I'm raising this flop hoping for a free river card, then when I hit the flush draw too, I'm betting/raising the turn for value.

Hand 1: I like it. You have to at least see a turn card, since there are lots of cards that might give you a chance to salvage your hand. On the turn unfortunatley it looks like you're drawing to 2 outs and it's 3BB to you. Sucks.
Hand 2: You really need to raise the frop to protect your hand. Otherwise goot. If it were heads up with SB, I think call/call/call is fine, but you have to worry about the button.
Hand 3: Again I'm raising the flop and getting ready to let the hand go if it gets hot. I'm not interested in drawing to a 7-high flush. With the hand going like it goes, I call the river too.
Hand 4: I'm definitely raising preflop. Flop goot. I may very well raise the turn looking for a free showdown on the river, but call/call is ok.
Hand 5: Without a read, your turn and river calls are awful.
Hand 6: It really just depends on reads, the texture of the flop, etc. I'm probably gritting my teeth and firing on the river too, even though I'm losing this hand the majority of the time. I think people call every street with nothin and fold the river UI more often than a reasonable player would expect.
Hand 7: I can find a value raise on the flop. Once I hit on the turn, I can't bet and raise fast enough. You're good here much more often than not, even with the paired board.
Hand 8: Try raising the flop, both for value and potentially for a free card. Otherwise looks fine.
Regarding being aggressive vs. being passive: there's a time and a place for each, and the great players are the ones who can tell the difference. I know there are a lot of online players that just pound the bet and raise buttons all the time (and I am guilty of that pretty often as well), but that's not necessarily always the right strategy.

I was kind of thinking it was some sort of blind defense which is why I called down. Hard to decide if it's blind defense or if they've actually got a hand. And even if it's blind defense they may have had me beat with a crap hand.
