I don't like my river check in hand 1. Should I be fine with my check in hand 2? I can see someone calling down with a Q here...

hand 1: looks good
hand 2: pop another bet on the river, why would someone call down with a Q when you raised preflop UTG, if i was BB i would have folded the flop assuming you have AA KK AK AQ, what else could you possibly raise with UTG ?
which im probably wrong.. i will continue to lead with a high PP until my opponent plays back with me.. if villan has a Q, WTF!? why do people call down with middle pair, it hardly accomplishes anything but give money to the guy who had top pair.

Cause passive fish will call raises with A rag no matter where the raise comes from. They will also call with KQ, Q10, QJ. I see them call down 2nd pair with A ace on the board all the time.
Hand 1 I should have thrown in a river bet...
