PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, 5. UTG posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG (poster) checks, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (7 SB) 3, Q, 5 (7 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (9.50 BB) K (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG raises, MP2 folds, Hero calls, BB calls.

River: (15.50 BB) 2 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets, Hero calls, BB calls.

Final Pot: 18.50 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has Qs 5s (two pair, queens and fives).
BB has Js Qc (one pair, queens).
UTG has 8c Qd (one pair, queens).
Outcome: Hero wins 18.50 BB.

Read: loose table.. no individual read on either who went to showdown other than both of them could have be put all-in if I capped all streets
My thinking: he caught 2-pr with the K on the turn
My analysis: should have 3-bet the turn and led out on the river, chances are he hit a K and not 2pr

yes, 3bet the turn and bet out the river on the blank.

elipsesjeff is an unknown quantity at this point
I think the more aggressive you are here will determine the magnitude of your swings.

If you raise the turn, and you are behind, you are going to lose more. But if you are ahead, you are also going to win more.

I'm a little less aggressive when I'm raised on the flop and then raised on the turn, usually this play is made when a player has a set. I would go into call down mode unless I was absolutely sure I had the nuts, or close to it.

I think you played it well, and, you might have missed a couple bets. But in the future, you'll save yourself some bets too. Nice pot too.

Thanks for the replies.

I think if a player caps the flop I will be more worried about a set in the future. Though I will call a 3-bet instead of capping for deception with a set, I don't think these players are that bright...
