Most. Predictable. Villain. Ever.
He called pre with pairs, I have to assume this is true because he never showed down anything but a set. Sometimes he called small flop bets and folded to turn, but on flop I could put him exactly on a set.
If the board ever paired on the turn he would check and wait for river, where he would pot it everytime. If the river paired he would pot it everytime. At the time I thought this was a super easy C/R because I'm only behind KK. Now I realize I'm only ahead of 99 with my read...
I don't care about pre-flop. I don't have stats but I raised almost everyhand I was playing because no one ever raises or 3bets and I want to play for stacks.
PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Hero ($25.45)
Button ($26.55)
SB ($8.25)
BB ($3)
UTG ($8.20)
MP ($9.75)
Preflop: Hero is CO with 5 , T , Q , K .
UTG calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.4, Button calls $0.40, SB calls $0.35, BB calls $0.30, UTG calls $0.30.
Flop: ($2) T , K , 9 (5 players)
SB bets $0.1, BB calls $0.10, UTG calls $0.10, Hero raises to $1.5, Button calls $1.50, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds.
Turn: ($5.30) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.
River: ($5.30) T (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $5.05, Hero raises to $20.2
After reviewing this hand I feel like I screwed up

you've got the 3rd nuts
with your read, lead the river for half the pot and call if he raises

I've looked at this again. You do have the 2nd nuts, only KK beats you and there's to Kings accounted for already. So I'd have to think my hand is good here
So lead the full pot and call a raise. Or if you're reasonably confident he's going to bet you check raise as you did.

Thanks salsa, I was 99.9% confident he had a boat and would full pot the river. K9, T9, or KT aren't often in his range, but I guess they are enough that I should be happy getting it all-in.
I should expect Omaha to be super swingy, even at micro stakes, AmIRight?
