First time poster long time lurker.
This wierd little hand has been troubling me for a while, im curious how others would have played it. I felt like a little fish at the showdown, but now that i have done some calculations with pokerstove... hmm...
Converter dosent work for B2B HH so i had to do it manually. (POT = amount of money in the pot before my action)

Looks fine to me. I'd have probably raised the turn and reraised the river, but I think the way you played it is fine too.

Why not try either a bet/reraise or check raise on the flop (I only do this heads up)? I've been trying this a lot more recently on the flop to try and get more info on what he could be holding. If you bet, he raises and you reraise a cap by him probably means overpair and a call proably means overcards. Same deal with the check raise. I dunno, maybe I give people too much credit at this level.

He's got some serious reverse implied odds issues on the flop. I like a call, if the turn looks nice he can make a move there. If the turn is ugly then he can quietly muck his pair.
