1. nh, helmet special villains make me smile
2. ugh, I'd like to say I just call the turn and call the river, but in the heat of battle I probably raise-fold too. I think there's more value in a call/call line, as it let's him bet his worse hands for us, and lets us off cheaper (or with a showdown at least) if we are crushed.
3. I don't mind villain's line too much. Out of position it'll be hard to make the most on later streets, especially if a 4th club or overcard comes off. He's already got a bet and a call before him, so he's only pushing out one player. Plus, if that turn isn't an ace, you're surely calling him down.
I can remember multiple occasions where I've flopped the nut flush out of position, check-called, then had the turn checked through. Sometimes then they don't even pay you off on the river. Against chasers it's usually best to just gas gas gas, because most of them will gladly pay to draw dead, but won't call with their QcX on the river.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

1..ty
2..i actually LOVE my line because it costs the same to get to showdown and i received a clear signal as to being well behind.
3..i HATE villains line here because it is ME that is doing the leading. he may not know this, but my metrics would show it....so would about a dozen hands of history together with one eye open. when i lead a flop like this, i am leading the turn unless a scary card comes, unless i am on the draw.....which he has beat. no need to be fancy just yet. i am not letting this turn check through, even if the A falls on the turn, as long as its not a 4th club. but, he announced his hand a little too early, blew one guy out early, and sealed my decision, too. he lost bets.
i agree that with chasers you lead foot it to showdown, but i am not a chaser, and he should see that in my aggression in about a dozen hands.
but, maybe that is where cake has helped you and me. without the hud, i can spot the aggros and stations fairly quickly w/o the hud. the TAGs are tricky and harder to identify quickly. but, the extremes of maniac and station stick out like red flags......and, i love it.

1. fish will be fish will be fish.... gotta love em! NH
2. I like your line. Calling down is fine too.
3. I like villain's line. What korn said. I mean, he has no alternatives, waiting to c/r the field oop on the turn on such a scary board is the kind of sloplay that usually backfires. If it was a dry board and he had btm set, then ok.
