c/r scares people and donking allows 3bets possibly. i donk oop a lot, so i wont be taken at all seriously, either, which again allows me to 3bet if someone connected with the draw or an overpair like 88.

i play overpairs here very hard. these villains play overcards pretty hard here, too. i am imagining them putting me on a cbet or flush draw because i play them this way. my equity with a straight draw is good, but the implieds on a non-spade gin card are great since it will look like i am just barreling my draw or bluffing the end of it when missed.

a huge tendency of players in my games is to play their whiffed draws very desperately on the river in a last ditch effort to steal a pot, which makes the likelihood of a raise coming at me more likely.

i just really liked my chances of grabbing a huge pot if one of my 8 outs (2 6's and 6 straight cards) hits. and, that is on the low side of my outs estimation.

when the set hit, i still had the oe and now pick up a boat redraw. pair the 5 with a spade, please.
