I had left a 25./.50 NL (don't have a giant bankroll and I know I'm not a great player) game after a bad beat. I was up some so it was better to leave at that point. Later I wanted to play again, and figured I'd play some play money stud or something. I decided to play .50/$1 limit instead. I bought in with $25 and instantly I won 25 bucks within 50 hands.
All I did was wait for suited cards and check and call until I hit my flush, or used the same strategy to see if I hit trips or two pair (did both once each). I cracked someones pocket aces by waiting till I hit 2 pair (K3s, I hit top pair, and had a flush draw) on the river.
It was much easier then I expected. I didn't need to pay attention to every detail as I would in No-Limit. I watched sportcenter most of the time. I take insane notes in NL (usually I watch the game for 30 min to 1 hour before I play) and I just jumped in and left the limit table up $25 like that.
Was this a fluke or what? It can't be that easy... right?

I won't bust on you, like I know I should. I'll just say Limit is a very swingy game. My first advice to you is to get out of Party Poker while you still can and go to Poker Stars if you are real serious about playing Limit. Secondly, my advice is for you to play within your Bankroll. Otherwise, you WILL go bust with that bankroll.

Umm... what Jeff said, but stay at Party if you can afford $200-$300 for a .5/1 bankroll.
Buy a copy of SSH and tighten up. Save the suited trash for after you get a better feel for the game. When I bring in marginal stuff I'm either putting pressure on someone else to make a hand or am following a bunch of loose limpers usually with position.

Well, I think my post has give you the idea I don't play seriously. This is a new expirence in limit, but I take NL very serious, and don't play reckless. I consider myself a pretty good NL player (not great or anything). This was a rush that I couldn't believe, and If you're insulted (I kinda sense that you were) sorry. I didn't mean it in a "I'm so great" way... I honestly was curious about it. There's so many factors that you consider in a NL game, that don't really apply in a limit game and I ended up doing very well quickly. I left early because I wasn't confident I could keep it up. I was shocked and excited at the same time.
Fnord- Yeah, I'm over $200 (not buy a great deal). Early on I saw a good amount of flushes (good amount meaning more then I would in NL in such a short time) that were junk high cards (people getting flushes with suited connecters and having a J high flush) and simply followed along those lines. But I do understand what you're saying.

In my humble opinion LIM is much harder to play, as there are many more decsions to make and many more unclear situations.
A tight-conservative player can do ok (even well) in NL, but may get pounded in LIM. And when tighty catches a hand in LIM, everyone knows about it.

Id have to say you had a good run. Long term, you can not expect to have a winrate anywhere near that high. Suited trash is just that, trash, an instant fold. Pick up "Small Stakes Hold' em" and follow it to a T, you will have consistant wins at PartyPoker, up to 2/4 and ~6/12 in B&M play. You dont need to change gears while playing at these levels, because the fishies dont even notice how you play; save the tricky stuff for the good players.
