well i don't know about capping the flop, but on the turn he has 9 outs to the flush, 6 more outs to the str8, and partial outs to TP if his ace or jack hits, though they are likely dead to 2pr, a set, or a made str8. he's got something like 2:1 odds of catching on the river, so with a pot that big the cap is clearly correct. well forget about the pot, he has 2 opponents so he automatically gets more than 2:1.

easy cap on the flop. (he's open ended, with 2 overs, giving him 14 outs, enough equity to cap with 2 others. fine i'll just say 10 outs since his overs might not be good, still a hell of a lot of equity)

bet out on the turn, and cap it yourself. you now have half the deck to help you on the river.

it's a third of the deck, not half... but that doesn't change anything.

it was a guess. even at a 3rd of the deck he's got enough pot equity to cap the turn with them, and just "break even"
