This is a limit question.
You are BB with 27 off. UTG raises. 5 people flat call including SB.
What do you do?

Fold.
72o won't make enough hands you can get value out of post-flop.

You're getting great odds, but even if you flop something (i.e. two pair or trips), it's easy for someone to have something better by the river. AND you're out of position. Not to mention that it may be hard to disguise trips well if you hit 77x or 22x. I fold.

The only argument that I could ever make with 72o preflop is in a 2/3 blind structure and you are in the SB. Even then I don't believe its worth it.

I deliberately chose 27 because it's the worst hand in poker. What I was getting at was if there was any situation where it would be correct to call this hand in a limit game for a raise because of implied odds.
What about changing the 27 to 46o?

Trash hands have reverse implied odds. You derive value in poker post-flop by being confident in where you stand and being able to drive hands. Bluffing is out of the equation in a multi-pot this big and being out of position further complicates getting maximum value. Trashy hands just won't make enough strong hands to get maximum value out of and many of the pretty good hands it will make are very easy for the unwashed masses of callers to suck out on.
Sure, if you just had to put in one more bet and we delt out 5 cards it's probably a crying call. But it doesn't work that way.
