andyr is on a distinguished road
I've been playing limit for a few years, and I've been doing ok at $1/$2, and $2/$4. My game works well because people fold to continuation bets, fold to bluffs and I can spot fish at the table and concentrate on getting their money rather than the regulars who ahve a better game.

But I find that at tables with 3 or 4 fish at the (6max) table, where they see every flop, struggle to fold A-high, or if they hit bottom pair / any draws, I just seem to keep losing when my pre-flop AK or pockets 10s, gradually seem less appealing when the turn / river comes down because one of the fish is going to hit a card with a hand that they should never be in with.

I can't work out how I should be adjusting my game to this type of table and at the moment I just avoid them which is frustrating because there are so many prime fish waiting there!. I'm not sure whether i should be playing more hands (Eg, suited connectors / low pairs) even if there have been 2 or 3 raises before me, or less hands risking my AK / AQ getting beaten on the river or just playing lotto like everyone else! and trying to hit 2 pair with any 2 cards and then fold on the flop if I don't. Anyone else have similar problems?

In 6max it's often correct to call down aggressive bettors with any piece of the board, even ace high.

Sounds like you are playing waaay too tight. Especially for 6max, where the blinds are eating you alive. You need to open your range a lot in late position. Hands like QJ, K9, T9s, A7 become bread and butter hands when on the button.

And you can't just play "fit or fold" postflop. ie. bet or call with good pairs, fold otherwise. That's a sure fire recipe for lighting money on fire.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
