Its a kill pot, so this hand is a 6/12 game. 2 limpers to me and I call from the button with Ac-9c. I probably would normally raise, but I dont feel like it will limit the field, and because its a kill, I just call and the blinds come along too. Flop is 6-7-8 rainbow. First player to act bets 6, and everyone calls, as do I. Turn is a 5 putting 2 spades on board. The first player bets 12, and its folded to the player to my right, who calls. I make it 24 and the first player thinks long enough and makes it 36. My read on this guy is that he has played poorly enough to make me pretty sure my hand is good. I doubt he holds 9-10 for a flopped straight. The player to my right folds, and I cap it at 48. He calls. Turn is the A of spades, so he could have made a flush if he had a weird hand with 2 spades. He checks to me. I decide this is one of those, "Dont bet when getting raised will make you sick" situations and check behind. He has A-4 and my hand holds up. In hindsight, I see he most likely would have called a bet on the river, but does anyone here bet?
Other notes on this hand?
