with 3 people posting in addition to the blinds is it wise to try and build and a pot if I spike my six on the flop?
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 6 , 6 . MP2 posts a blind of $2. MP3 posts a blind of $2. UTG+1 posts a blind of $2.
1 fold, UTG+1 (poster) checks, UTG+2 calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, MP3 (poster) calls, 4 folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls.
Flop: (10.50 SB) 3 , Q , 9 (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds.

i believe its a good move because if the people that posted fold that moneys already in the pot for you. and if you get called you could potentially hit a set and win a big pot. you could even get everyone to fold and end up taking 5 blinds without risking any more money. i liked your bet on the flop as well because you need to lead out and bet no matter what hits that flop.

That's funny.
On a more serious note, it depends on table texture. If the game is pre-flop or post-flop really loose then I like just calling better. If he hits his set he wants garbage hands in there. However, if he thinks some naked aggression will work too, then go for it!
