have a brief and funny story to share. I switched over to Empire from UB a while back and was thrilled to see all the SNGs.

90% of time I play LIMIT cash games, the other 10% I play NL tourneys.

Anyway, I enter a NL $30 SNG and I noticed that the table was really loose for the start of a tourney, but that the raises were small and there were tons of limps and cold calls. I was camping out as usual and after 2 and 1/2 orbits I caught JJ and couldn't find the scalable bet... I could only find check , fold or raise.

I had entered a LIMIT tourney and didn't know it for 25 hands - lol. Because I was folidng hand after hand (including raised BB and SB) I just thought I was at the strangest loose/timid NL tourney table I had ever seen in my life, and I was as confused as hell.

This every happened to anyone else....
Gone golfing ..see ya in the Fall of 2006
PS. What did the snail on the turtle's back say?
Wheeeeeeeee........

Sounds pretty close to my first limit tourney experience. Thought it was NL and got pocket A's in the BB on the first hand. I was trying to figure out what size bet was going to be most effective with the 7 limpers in my pot when i realized i only have one choice for what that bet amount was going to be. And no, the Aces did not hold up.

Fnord is an unknown quantity at this point

Party does a HORRIBLE job of labeling the two.

Limit just says "Hold'em", NL says "NL Hold'em"
