im not an avid limit player ...im a no limit player so i find limit to be totally different and i just have some question...

1. how do starting hands vary? do u need stronger hands or do u play drawing hands more?
2. r fancy moves like check raising and semibluffing as crucial
3. r pot odds or implied odds more important?

1. Tighter hands. In NL you can limp and if you miss the flop, you can get out and not be losing too much. In limit, if you're playing you need to win. Limping and praying is going to eat ya.

2. Crucial? no, but they're fancy moves

3. They're one in the same. You pay attention to your pot odds, but you have to consider whether you're going to get action behind you or not.

And i think I misread #3. Pot odds are far, FAR more important in limit than no limit.

I read it as which is more important, pot odds or implied odds. No, it didn't make much sense to me then either.

yes, pushing draws is more important in limit to get the right odds on the hands...

Pot odds come into play a lot more then implied odds since the implied odds are maybe 2bb extra in most cases, where in NL it could be there whole stack...
