I accidentally joined a 5+1 Limit tournament on Party Poker last night. I hate when that happens. I just can't see the attraction to this game. Having played NL almost exclusively the Limit Holdem just seems boring to me.

So instead of trying to wait out the boredom I decided to try a little experiment.

I decided to raise/reraise every single time the bet was to me. It didn't matter what cards I had or what position I was in I just Raised, Raised, Raised.

It was absolutely hilarious. It took about 5 or 6 hands for people to realize that I was just being an idiot. I took down two really large pots with absolute garbage like 64o and 73o. Then when people started calling bullshyt on my raises I picked up pocket aces and got 2 people to go all in and I took down another monster.

It really threw people for a loop and they were all pissed off as I read their comments in the chatbox.

Three separate times I was under 100 chips with a huge multi way pot sitting there and I took it down with junk.

I ended up going out 5th and most of the remaining players were in rough shape from getting involved in too many pots with me.

After I went out the chat box was filled with "Thank God" 's.

I realize this isn't a great strategy in the long run but it was fun for an experiment and if I would've stopped raising after I became a big stack I'm sure I could've placed. Fun.

That's awesome. Of course I hate playing with players doing that, but it's funny when you're not involved in the game.
