I love the pot limit 5cd at stars but have a quick question about the $1/2:

What do you defend your blind with? I basically fold <AA, reraise trips and just call anything in between. I wonder if that's too tight for a limit game?

Results have been good so far, just looking for input and general rules of thumb so I don't have to keep wondering...

Vs a tight button raise range Tens or better is worth a call. As opponents get tighter I'll pass Tens through Queens. A 1-draw bluff or pat bluff might be worth it vs more trusting opponents although the paranoia level is so high in these spots I rarely make plays since I get looked up a lot.

Vs aggro button raises I'm at least calling Tens or better and certainly re-raising Kings or better and plan to show down my hand a lot. For a while I experimented with just calling an Ace and drawing four vs the guys raising pretty much anything on the button or SB.

I usually take funny stuff like button limp-re-raises seriously unless my oppoent is just too random to take anything seriously. Probably just fold to the re-raise unless I have trips.

With position vs a SB steal you must be re-raising QQ+ (JJ+) a lot and perhaps calling smaller pairs since you have position. If their range is too tight, then adjust by making some tighter folds.

When the game gets hyper-aggro and heads-up a lot (PS 2/4 and 3/6), I've had the most luck adjusting by not getting out of line a whole lot (but still steal a pot here and there) and showing down a bit more because you'll see a lot of meek hands played fast.
