I thought this may be a good idea...more information never hurts.

Just wondering if anyone is interesting in exchanging notes about players at the LHE microstake tables at pokerstars.

honestly, i only keep "one word" notes on most players. i expand when i see things, but there isnt much else you need to know other than the standard notes...

- station
- LAGtard
- stealer
- defender
- chaser
- river folder
- needs 2 barrels

etc, etc.

and, to be honest, i dont see enough of the same players at Stars' micro tables to bother getting specific. if i start to see a guy a LOT, i will note him....if i feel he's worthy. (most of the regs suck, too, and you can beat them w/o extensive notes). save the fancier notes for 50/1+, if even then.

my focus, if i were you, would be to hammer the fundamentals, and concentrate (soon) on opening more tables to leverage my inevitable winrate so i can move up.

i see a lot of the same ole faces. my notes are about the same. except i might put plays with Q5o in mp...or raises preflop with A2o..or bets to river with K5o got lucky with flush. or sometimes I just label someone as maniac.
Lots of crap goes on down here in micro limits. we should team up and make the best of it.

chopper, you should spend some time at the PS .25/.50 tables. You would kick ass there. even I can hold my own there. But I am mostly a break even player.

i have. i spent about 30k hands there earlier this year and ran a decent profit. i dont play much at stars anymore....just when i'm in the mood to goof. i have rakeback elsewhere and its a much worse site in terms of skilled players. they are horrific.

when i come back to stars, i'm like, "when the F*** did these guys learn to play?" they are more aggressive. of course, you can use that against them, as Ltrain said.

but, if you found bigger fish, why swim where there are more sharks?

that said, i hook up with different people and goof all the time. so, give me a shout, and we'll do it for sure.

just last night i played 8-game rotation w/ wesrman. i got dealt "rolled up K's" in a studhi game against a maniac that was auto-capping all streets w/ crap. i cap right along with him and he has only 3 diamonds up. but, his river card was his 5th diamond and he sucked out on me.

very next hand, wes has "rolled up 3's" and holds up against this guy. he, essentially, dragged all my money into HIS stack. i called him a dillhole and told him we cant be friends anymore.

havent heard from him today, but he shot me some links to some "fun" things on the net. so, i guess we are still friends {sarcasm}...lol.
