2 hands, 2 sets

Alrighty, having trouble with these type of hands. Being in position makes it easier. The flop raise makes me believe a flush draw. Any reason to raise the flop? How about raise the turn?

Villian is 30/21/2.1 over 250 hands. He has actually been following me around. Don't know why because over 500 hands tonight I ran 15/10 due to being card dead. He had however pwned me postflop many times.

doesn't really make much of a difference. you're showing down regardless. it just depends how much you wanna gamble, and if you're running well or bad. if i run well, i fast play this and 3bet the flop. running bad, i go into call down mode, and play the way you played.

if you think this guy is following you, open up PT and filter it out to all the hands you have with this guy. does he always sit to your left? does he play extra aggressive against you?

hand 2, meh...played like he has KQ.
again...if i run good, i 3bet and swear when they cap it back.
run bad, i call the raise.

When would a stop n go be better on hand 2? When I have something weaker, say KJ?

BTW Hyper, I was running HOT

Against villian I've had 27 hands and am +12bbs against him. How do I filter to see position and etc...

Why not raise the turn in hand 1? I don't know why you put him on a flush draw. If he's a good player, he wouldn't raise for a free card OOP, and the raise isn't for value HU. I would think a good K, 2pair, or a set of 4s more than a flush draw. If he's a bad player, no reason to put him on a flush draw unless you've seen him play flush draws aggressively on the flop before. I think you lose value not raising the turn, and even if he has the flush and 3-bets you, you still have many outs, and will probably make a lot on the river if you hit.

i tend to do exactly that. semi-bluff raise, fire again on the turn. the standard "i have a hand" line. if you're raised on the turn, you have odds to call. and if you hit the river, you have a chance at a CR.

Well that would be a REALLY good player making that play against players they know it is +EV against. I'm just saying there isn't enough evidence that opponent is on the flush draw to not raise the turn. Nothing from the OP suggested an extremely strong, tricky player, and even given that, 2-pair, TPGK, and a smaller set still play it the same (although the set doesn't always raise the flop).
