Pre-flop: (6 players) hlacheen is UTG with Q Q
hlacheen raises, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls.

Flop: A 9 J (8.5SB, 4 players)
BB checks, hlacheen bets, CO calls, Button raises, BB calls, hlacheen calls, CO folds.

Turn: 3 (7.75BB, 3 players)
BB checks, hlacheen checks, Button bets, BB folds, hlacheen folds.
Uncalled bets: 1BB returned to Button.

Results:
Final pot: 7.75BB

He could've just been on a flush draw but I doubted it, I figured its much more likely he had the ace, because people will play any ace from any position behind any raise at these stakes.

At this level its not a bad fold. Once its HU though I'll usually call it down as a lot of people raise any pair any kicker just to see where they are at a lot of times too.

My default rule with pocket pairs is to be aggressive with one overcard on the board and calldown against resistance. With two flopped overcards, I am continuation betting but looking for reasons to fold if I don't also have a draw.

I don't mind the play, even at your stakes though with a read you could consider a call on the turn, fold the river if he bets again. Many opponents will checkthough the river if they don't have the ace or if they have ace,rag.
