 I raised-folded today. Raised KQo from EP, got 3bet by a guy with stats 24/2 10% steal 0.4% 3bet (700+ hands). Felt pretty good about it

Then hit a Royal with AdKd on a JdTd8xQd9x board and a guy with Kx for the straight was nice enough to 3bet it into me.

The games are still good I say!
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

 I think thats a fine laydown. But it is close. Suppose his range is always KK+. Getting 6.5 to 1 immediately and 7.5 to 1 with a cbet you don't need to smack the flop hard very often for it to be worth it to call for the implied odds of hitting two pair, or gutshot or better (I think you can call with gutshot because you'd be almost guaranteed 3 big bets when you hit).

So you will hit two pair or a gutshot about 20% of the time (mostly gutshots). Then you just play your two pairs aggressively and your draws passively (note: be prepared to fold top pair or at most peel one off on the flop for two pairs, trips)

I think you did the right thing but its close just because of the fantastic pot odds/implied odds.
