Button is a loose charity case who's already donated his stack, looks to be trying to go all-in.
BB 55/16, a bit agro post flop, but nothing I would consider "out of line"

I play it the same.

I like the flop check-raise. Your hand is usually best and you want to trap BB for an extra bet. A somewhat aggro player will 3-bet many hands you beat (e.g. JT, QJ, KT, KJ, , possibly some others), as well as a few you don't (J9, two pair). Because BB just called your pre-flop raise, many dangerous holdings he could have are unlikely (e.g. AT+, 88+).

The turn card would make KJ beat you, but I'm not too concerned with BB having an A. As I pointed out above, I think he would have preflop-3-bet his bigger aces, and not flop-3-bet his smaller aces. I think you still beat a good number of hands this player will lead the turn with, and you now have a gutshot draw. And the pot is medium sized now. Because there is a good chance BB is still on draw and/or has a weak pair, I am really tempted to donk it to avoid giving a free card. At the same time, the board is starting to get scary, I am not that confident that villian is on draw, and you might get a weaker hand to turn-bet+river-bet by calling down, where a bet now might get a weaker hand to turn-call/fold+river-fold. So check/call is still probably best.

The river completes J-draws and you are often behind but the pot size and your 2-pair warrent a call.
