played it fine, standard suckout from a fish.... nothing to worry about, u bet while ahead and put minimum action when behind.

He wont hit his 5outer most of the time, so you will profit from these situations in the long run

There is a link right on the sidebar (Poker Tools -> Hand Converter) that goes to http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php

I see the hand converter but it tells me I need 10 posts to post URLs or links.

I just wasn't sure about my river play here. Assuming the villain isn't on a draw I'm now pretty obviously beat, by either the A or the J. My line of thinking was that if I bet, he folds if I'm ahead, and if I check I either get a free showdown or possibly a desperation bluff from something I do beat.

It's close, but I think I prefer a check/fold or maybe bet/fold to check/call given how passive he seems. His play suggests he's more likely to call down with a worse K or maybe even a small pp, but less likely to bluff a missed draw on the end. Further, there's very few missed draws he could have in any case - Q9, T9 is about it.
