My question is? You think I'm beat here.. maybe raise on the turn instead of calling it down?

Assuming he is not a maniac, after the preflop and flop action, I would put him on AA, KK, QQ or JJ. So the J on the turn is not a great card. You are now only beating QQ. If you raise the turn, more often than not you will get 3 bet by AA or JJ and you still have to call down. I would do as you did and call the turn and river bets.

I'd put him on AA or QQ. I think calling down on the turn and river was the right move.

I think there's no question here he's got a high overpair. Given that you capped pre-flop, I'd say it's very doubtful he'd be coming after you with tens. So, he's either got jacks (3 permutations left), queens (6 left), kings (1 left) or aces (6 left). So, 9 out of 16 times you're behind, 6 out of 16 times you're ahead and 1 out of 16 time you're tied. Calling down's the right move.

AA doesn't 3-bet this turn very often. Usually at this point you get credit for something better than 1 pair.

You raised ep and, out of position, he 3-bet. This strongly suggests at least AKs. I have to think that since he saw you cap the flop, which suggests AA or KK, then check raised you on the flop *anyway*, that there's a good chance you're beat. Only a poor player in the big blind would play this way with less than KK. Folding to the flop cap is possible, but I doubt I'd be up to it. I'm pretty sure that at the table I'd just call the check raise on the flop, and call down the turn and river.
