Hi,

I haven't posted before, but today I think I had a really bad turn of luck. Now, it might be that I was playing on micro-limit tables so I might deserve these beats.

I would like any suggestions as to where I should be starting and with how much bankroll if micro-limit tables are a bad place to play.

Please provide some analysis of my KK hands over the past couple weeks:

Hand 1 you played well

Hand 2 The turn call is mandatory as you have the Kc once all the cards are out with that many people in the pot its best to check call on the river and hope for the best.

Hand 3 the same at the river anyone with an ace has you beat so there is no point in raising anymore.

I'll add these points:

1) In games where a lot of people are in for the flop you will get a lot of bad beats, your big hands will win big pots but not as often as normal games. For every extra person who sees the flop your chances of winning decrease.

2) Watch out for people who bet out of turn it usually means they have improved, with a PP you have very little chance to improve (unless you have extra outs via 4 flush OESD etc.)
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .

Hand 2) Curse like hell when 6 other people call a raise to see the flop and then pray that you hit a set.
TheXianti: (Triptanes) why are you not a thinking person?

elipsesjeff is an unknown quantity at this point
Hand 2 you need more post flop technique. You were giving everyone and their brother odds to call you. There were two things you could do:

1) check in the Big Blind and then check raise the flop no matter what (a little HEFAP strategy). You will do this so you don't give odds on the later rounds for callers to draw out on you. You forego a small edge preflop to make a bigger one post flop. Most raises on the Big Blind won't decrease the number of people seeing the flop.

2) check raise on the flop. if it checks around you are hoping someone will bet out so you can raise and force everyone else to call incorrectly. You arent able to control your odds here if you just bet out, so even the guy with 34o has odds to call with his bottom pair.

Better post flop play is needed, consult SSH for more. The other two hands you were drawn out on, not much you can do.
