The new party 3/6 - 6 max tables...

I've primarily been a full table player. However, I've started playing the 6max tables in order to improve my play, and eventually move up to the 5/10 and 10/20 6 max tables. Anyways, this question is specifically in regards to the 3/6 tables. I'm not a 6max expert, but I understand it requires us to play more hands and be more aggressive with them. However, I've noticed that many weak players see you raise preflop, and automatically, they will cold call on the button, or out of the BB becaues they think you are on a steal. Despite being very frustrating when you lose a hand like AA to 38o for a runner runner flush, I'm wondering about keeping the pot size smaller by NOT raising many hands preflop. More specifically, it's folded to me on the button, and I see A7-2s, A9-2o, KT-7s, KJ-9o , QT-9s, QTo, or JTs (This listing is arbitrarily chosen. Please comment with your hand ranges if you have any thoughts. Also, I consider stronger hands in each category an auto-raise). Typically, aggressive strategy would dictate a blind steal and thus, a raise. However, I've found this to cause to overplay my hands, and simply bet with the worst hand on the flop and turn (hoping to fold out my opponent). Does anyone have any thoughts regarding NOT raising such hands as part of a blind steal and rather limp to 1)keep the pot smaller or 2) "disguise" your hand.

If you have an edge, push it. If they are willing to call in the BB with 38o they have no clue about pot odds. They wouldn't fold anyway.

Raise your hand, make your opponent make bigger mistakes and in the end you will win more.
