I only played this for the humor in it. I even said that during the hand. I can't believe it actually stood up.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Omaha/8 (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K, K, K. CO posts a blind of $0.25.
Hero calls, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, CO (poster) checks, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 6, A, J (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, MP1 bets, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) T (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, MP1 checks, CO checks.

River: (5.50 BB) A (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, MP1 checks, CO checks.

Final Pot: 5.50 BB

Results below:
SB has 9 T 7 Q (High: two pair, aces and tens).

 I think it was worth the chance that he could win. And telling poeple that you won with a horrible hand is always a great story. Though i still can't believe he WON,

Exactly. Of course I know KKKK is an awful starting hand. But sometimes ya gotta have a little FUN. Can't be all business ALL the time, ya know. Besides, had this been higher stakes, as opposed to 0.25/0.50, I'd have mucked it in a heartbeat.

Now, I gotta say, I'm not sure I want a 500 gorilla *ahem* moderating me.

well, he woulda had the nuts if the board was AAAAX....so technically it was a good play. and seeing how aces paired once, he was halfway there!!!



coincidentally i was playing h/l the other day and the high won a 3 way pot with a pair of 5s.
