Read villian a little loose. Not a strong read, but sort of semi-loose/normal aggression.

Full Tilt 1/2 Hold'em (5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J, J.
1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 5, 5, 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: (3.25 BB) 4 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Easy call.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

I refuse to answer until you answer my PM

j/k

I bet the turn here a lot which is probably bad. Lemme think about it, what hands call our turn bet? Yea, betting the turn cannot be right.

Wait, I don't bet the turn here with JJ, I bet it here with KJ. Yea, that's what I was thinking.

Check turn to induce bluff/call river.

Humor? I'm completely lost here big-spenda, explain please?

--I actually bet this turn more often than not. I think because if there is an ace out there, he'll raise here, and let you know. If my opponent only calls, I bet the river fully intending to call praying he doesn't have a 3 or an Ace.

Also betting out the turn again, will give BB an opportunity to checkraise should he have something like 2's full or trip 5's. Giving you an opportunity to lay it down should you be crushed, and maintaining an aggressive facade.

Although, when it comes right down to it, you paid the same price as played as you would have if you would have bet, and laid down to a checkraise, with the added bonus of what he was holding.

So as played I can't argue that it was incorrect. I just don't know if betting the turn is "more correct"
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?
