I can see myself occassionally betting the turn to try and take it down but not the flop.

And yes, people at 3/6 consistently play crap. 3/6 is my bankroll game. Do I wanna play that $30 MTT later tonight - let's play some 3/6 5 player max limit and get the entry fee.

With it being raised, I can see why you would want to bet but any decent spade is going to call along with a k or q. I would not bet it.

With 2 broadways on the board, any 2 broadway hole cards have a pair, gutshot or OSD.

it's not what you have that counts, it's what they think you have. if they call you can very easily put the on a spade draw and let it go from there.

you only need to be successful 1 in 7 to make this profitable.

I have Ed Miller's recent 2+2 mag article to thank for this one...

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Fnord is CO with A, 9. UTG+1 posts a blind of $3. MP1 posts a blind of $3. MP2 posts a blind of $4. Fnord posts a blind of $3.
1 fold, UTG+1 (poster) checks, MP1 (poster) raises, MP2 (poster) calls, 1 fold, Fnord (poster) 3-bets, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Food for thought:

I've made $396.25 over my last 1.8k hands. Of that $17 is from hands I limped pre-flop (25 hands.)
