I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Pretty standard. Probably outkicked, but the pot is big so you've got odds to hit a 3-5 outer and by the river you've still got to call.

In addition to the protection and fold equity your raise gives; if you are ahead, you want to extract the most value from the others (drawing) in the hand.
