their play deserves more praise. they made 2 extra big bets by calling instead of raising, which might have folded the other 2 players.

At $1/$2 tables, people are too loose/passive and will sometimes cold call a turn raise drawing without the odds, or cold call a river raise with marginal holdings. Also, with this somewhat disguised hand, raising the river with the nuts will often get a weaker good hand to 3-bet/cap. On the other hand, with loose/passive players to follow, you can almost guarantee that these players will simply call, so that's a near-definite 2 big bets with this line of action.

It depends a lot on the table texture and reads, but still I think Nisha probably loses an average of ~2bb on a $1/$2 table by not raising here on the turn and/or river.

Meh, I would be more concerned about your play after the flop.

The flop call was really thin, then after hitting your card on the turn you just check/call....

First time I read the hand I didn't see the backdoor flush (use the HH converter, damnit.)

Figure 1.5 outs on the BD flush
Maybe 1.5 outs for an Ace, but might be giving them too much credit with a JTx board since there is a very good chance you're drawing dead to the Ace.
Maybe .5 more outs for the runner runner wheel.

~3 outs.

$1 to call closing the action.
$10 in the pot.

Marginally bad call.

I think you should bet the turn once you hit the Ace.

I know this I played the hand bad... flop play was real thin, turn play I probably don't have the best Ace out, and river play well the pot was big enough for him to raise and I think the two guy behind would have called anyways, they were playing real loose to begin with... I figured with just calls on the river I got lucky... wrong, There are a couple of mistakes in this hand I made:

1) Thin flop play shoulda folded
2) Didn’t bet my ace figuring someone had a stronger
3) My river play was thin betting out Aces up with so much out that COULD beat me...

I think he missed an extra 3bb on the river by not raising, the two cold callers and my call... the pot was large enough to justify the raise here I think most players with any sort of chance in hell at winning a hand could possible call... I think it could be argued either way, is why I posted it...
