Is this lack of cap a standard throughout poker or is it just interpoker?

I think alot of B&M rooms play no cap when it's heads up like that. Interpoker/Crypto is the only one I know of that plays no cap online.

aye...i was playing at sporting bet and i saw 2 people do this at the river (that's right another site with unlimited raising!!)...

anyways, after lots of chips have been spewed, the winner flips over flush 10 high...the other dude had trips....that's right...not even a full house or nut flush!

I know what you mean. I know there can't be any boats unless the board is paired but sometimes I'm worry that I didn't notice the board pairing.

With flushes everyone knows the board needs 3 of a suit but sometimes it is harder to notice if they come on the turn and the river.

I found this out the hard way, after playing way too many hours I have an A high straight and did not notice the river made 3 to a flush. Needless to say, I lost a lot of my profits from that table.

pokerpages a.k.a. bugsysclub also has no cap heads up. i once made a shitload of money there with JT on a board of 9JTJ6 because some dumb fish rivered another boat w 66. we went back and forth 6-8 times. serves him right for chasing.

having unlimited re-raises heads up is a standard house rule at all bricks and mortar cardrooms. i don't know why more online casinos don't implement it. the only reason the cap exists is to prevent collusion. you can't collude heads up.

At the B&M 5/10 game I play I have gotten into this raising war 3 times that I can remember. One guy had K high flush while I had the A. Another guy had a smaller Boat than myself. Each time I held the nuts and there were a minimum of 10 Big bets on the river. Talk about a variance Boost!!

I point you toward my wonderous InterPoker threads:

Afternoon session

A few specific hands from later in the day

God, I love that sight. They need to transfer my money over to my new account, so I can start playing on there again.
Is that guy still part of the forum??
