Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, Q. MP3 posts a blind of $3.
3 folds, MP2 raises, MP3 (poster) calls, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (10.33 SB) 4, J, 7 (3 players)
MP2 bets, MP3 calls, Hero raises, MP2 folds, MP3 calls.

Turn: (7.66 BB) Q (2 players)
MP3 bets, Hero raises, MP3 calls.

River: (11.66 BB) 8 (2 players)
MP3 bets, Hero raises, MP3 3-bets, Hero caps, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 19.66 BB

i took a moment on the river, thinking no way he could have T9.

i was right. he showed 65o.

The stop'n'go semi-bluff with a weak-ass draw is all the rage at 3/6 these days...

I would have cried and capped it too.

You only have to be good 50% of the time to cap the river, you have the best hand much more often than that.
