See if you can guess the winning hand, I sussed it after I had bet the turn...

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 folds, MP3 3-bets, CO folds, Button folds, Hero caps, BB calls (4 Bets Cold), MP1 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (16 SB) Q, 4, 5 [color:blue](4 players)[/color]
Hero bets, BB calls, MP1 folds, MP3 raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, MP3 calls.

Turn: (12.50 BB) 2 (3 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, MP3 calls, Hero 3-bets, BB caps, MP3 calls, Hero calls.

River: (24.50 BB) T (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, MP3 calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 27.50 BB
Main Pot: 27.50 BB, between Hero, BB and MP3. > Pot won by BB (27.50 BB).

Results in white below:
Hero shows Qd Qc (three of a kind, queens).
BB shows 3s Ad (straight, five high).
MP3 shows Ac As (one pair, aces).
Outcome: BB wins 27.50 BB.

I guess the only thing to ease my mind is that I was a pretty big dog PF.

Yeah
yeah, he called 3 bets cold, not 4 with his A3. Either way, it was awful call. Perhaps he has been reading too much twoplustwo - lol.

He was happy going for the butt end of a straight too.

Anyways, it was a horrid play by him, so hopefully he is a horrid player, and you continued to stay there and rightfully take all his money. Once he left, you put him on your buddy list and followed him each and everytime he plays and your online. If he tightens up, think of it as being a good teacher, then look for a new fish.

Good luck, and tough beat

it was a she and her strat was to play any ace for any bet, her lucked continued and she left a big winner

Always annoying when that happens...

QQ and KK are both losers today for a $41.50 loss

AQs is also down but at one point was -$40.00 bad day for beats but i'm just over break even so its all still good. If I can break even with these beats I should do well on a normal day.

without starting the ever present limit vs. no limit discussion, QQ and KK are pretty solid for me in NL tournies (QQ's actually better than KK for me), but have not held up as well in my few limit games.

Yeah I have thought multiple times that QQ is cursed. Yesterday I got it twice and the first time I had to fold it to an all in even though now I think I had the guy beat. He turned out to be a bit of a maniac but at the time I didnt know it and its better safe than sorry I guess. So I lost 11 on that. Well I get dealt QQ about 40 hands later and end up facing off against the same guy after the flop. I raised 3 preflop - got 3 callers.

Flop J33. bet 6 - 2 folders and face off between me and the other guy

he raises to 10

I raise him all in

he called

4th and 5th i cant remember but I won and the pot was 58 dollars. That made me happy. I told him I wasnt gonna let him take my bitches out twice.

Unless MP3 is out of line, I'm thinking this is a call pre-flop. A 3-bet usually means JJ, QQ, KK, AA, AK maybe AQ. By calling you can see if MP1 wants to cap and avoid giving away hand strength or pushing a situation where you're not likely to have the best hand. One drawback to that line is if the SB/BB will call 2 cold, but not 3 you lose isolation value.

Had a similar situation with JJ from the CO last night.

Pre-flop: EP raises, LP 3-bets, I call, EP caps, all call.
Flop is Q high. EP bets, LP raises, I muck. After much fireworks EP shows AA, LP had JJ!
