clearly a mistake to bet your gutshot on the flop with only 6.5 bets in the pot and not enough opponents to even get implied odds.
however, having called the raise, you were getting 6:1 on the turn, and you had at least 7 outs (4 T's + 3 Q's), which is a 6:1 proposition. plus, the guy MAY have a K not a J, so the 3 remaining A's are also partial outs. i think i'd be seeing the river in this case.

I would have played it the same. Bet the flop because he might fold.

I agree, calling down here isn't the best play. He raised you on the flop with either a K or a J, both of which can beat you. The Queen didn't help you at all, if anything it helped him. Good fold, better luck next time.
