And I'm not confused preflop, for those of you who are getting ready to post about that.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with J, Q.
UTG calls, Hero calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 2 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (5.33 SB) 6, 8, Q (5 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls, CO calls, BB folds, UTG calls.

Turn: (4.66 BB) 2 (4 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, MP2 folds, CO calls, UTG folds.

River: (6.66 BB) J (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, CO calls.

Final Pot: 12.66 BB
TylerK: its just gambling if i want to worry about money i'll go to work lol

Hi Tyler

Any AQ, KQ would have raised preflop, so you look solid for TPTK postflop

The turn and river play looks good.

If he has 9-10 (caught the gutshot str8) and didn't cap the river he's an idiot. That would be the nuts.

If he had QJ as you did, he's a goof for not raising you postflop.

Looks fine to me.

The only thing I can think that he may have that beats you is an odd slow play on a small set...If he's got the gutshot take note and kill him for it later.

Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

I play it the same. You need to be good about 67% of the time to 3-bet the river and I think you are. Call a cap.

The amount of hands CO could have is huge - lower two pair, pair of Queens, a set, an ugly 9T, or an even uglier and stupid (but lovely) bluff. You played it like a champ.
