No, you are mistaken. The party ring tables are teh same as Poker Now's. Whereas Empire and Eurobet share the same tables. Duh.

I could show you worse. BTW, 2/4 is a MUCH softer game and the rake actually comes out to about the same as you'll fall short of the $20 minimum more often. Given the sophistication level of your posts, you probably would win more money there. A fair amount of 3/6 players are multi-tabling the heck out of it, so game/seat selection and player adjustments are MUCH more important. If 2/4 isn't high enough stakes for your blood, then consider a weaker site like Pacific poker where the 3/6 and 5/10 games are very fishy and single-tabler friendly.

Dogging my sophisticosity huh?

I too am a mutli-tabler - just not a huge one. I'm used to my two tables at 3/6 5 player max at paradise. Just trying to get a feel to the tables at Empire and trying to remember how to play 10 player games again (god I hate having to fold so much). I still have many hurdles to overcome - game/seat selection being one of them. For now - I will play my game - post my questions - and keep living the dream.

Help the newbie out boys. What error did I make, and what do I need to do to not do it in the future?

Also will you look specifically at hands 8,9, and 12 and tell me how you woulda played them?

I'm thinking hand 9, I shoulda raised pre-flop and bet out on the flop... but is this just me seeing that I wouldv'e won a good size pot if I had done that?

Hand 12, how good is AJ in a ten person game?

Hand 8 I play the same.

Hand 9 I don't like the preflop limp. This is basically a raise or fold situation with call being the worst option in my opinion. I'd raise. Given the preflop action, post-flop looks good.

Try not to open-limp in middle position or later.

Hand 12 I would bet the flop you probably still have the best hand. Given that you checked I like a fold.

Really? Hand 8 - one limper in front of you, you're CO and you fold when u know scooby's coming along for the ride?

Hand 9 yeah I shoulda raised or folded.

Hand 12 - is AJ that bad early position in a 10 handed game? It's a consistent raise hand for me preflop in 5 handed games.

your trying to raise through 9 other players, your cards have to be really strong. AJ is too easily dominated.

I'm trying to raise through 7 others. If you WERE to play this, is a limp or raise better?

in early position if i was going to play, i would raise with AJs i would toss AJo

in later position, i would raise AJo but play cautiously post flop.
