This sucks but its all I can do really. I live in MN and we only have LHE casinos. There are some tourneys that run which I will for sure get in on but I need to fill the time. So, I am going to start playing live LHE again...
I need some ideas for getting better quickly at this. Things I have done so far:
1) Ed miller limit book
2) Video site sub @ dragthebar. This is about to run out soon though and their limit content is a tad limited.
Its probably been 4+ years since I have touched a limit table so I feel like a n00b. Any and all thoughts are welcome.

What limits do they spread there?
My favorite LHE book of all time is called Middle Limit Holdem Poker by Ciaffone and Brier. It was published pre-online poker boom for 10/20-30/60 live games. Given the poker landscape now, I think this book would still be great for the 5/10-8/16 (highest I've played live ever) games of today.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

They run 2-4 to 30-60 daily but there is also the "Fall Poker Classic" which is like the WSOP for MN (not saying much). They can get larger spreads going on then and actually I met Marcel Luske there a few years ago lol.
I have not heard of the book. Thanks for the recommendation I'll for sure be checking it out!

I went to Canterbury on Friday night. Played my first live cash game ever. Had a great time and played ok. I am reading Small Stakes Holdem now. Guess I will make it there 2-3 times a month until our government gets the hell away from online poker.

As soon as PS cash comes in then I will certainly be there more then I have been. How is the new card room looking? The old one was basically a giant open room with tables.

If you have not seen it since they remodeled last year ... It is really nice now. I was there last night and someone at another table hit the bad beat jackpot. Loser got 12K, winner got 6K, players at their table each got $500 and everyone else playing poker got $200.
That made my fishy table even more fishy ... to bad I went 1.5 without a decent hand and got rivered 3 times in a row on good hands. Still finished up $50 and then $200 on top of that.
Good Night for the bankroll
