No idea if this is already some weird-ass variant in play but came to me last night around 3am while I was watching old WSOP episodes.

1. Every player gets 4 hole cards as in omaha, there is a round of betting.
2. Once that round is over players in the hand discard 2 cards that are then reshuffled into the deck
3. Game plays like hold'em from the flop.

I'm a little ambivalent between players discarding 2 cards into the deck before or after the initial round. If all have to do it then you get more cards back in the deck for post flop drawing but if you do it after (so anyone that mucks doesn't put cards back in) then there is more strategy for deciding what to play/keep if you stay in the hand.

So yeah, thoughts, opinions, am I just a crazy weirdo that has underslept?
