Tends to happen when I'm running good. I think after you learn to play the big hands, blind play is the next most important part to master. Even more important than playing marginal hands well. It's been a focus of mine as of late...

Not running g00t anymore. 4 busted sets, yet managed to come out up $17.25 over 475 hands.

Fnord--maybe you can do a short "Why you suck at the blinds" list for guys like me who fit that profile.

BTW--impressive run!

Blind play is critical to good play, I have been working on it a LOT lately.

Nice laydown on the trip 9's.

I think this is a pretty big leak for me--not being able to laydown strong hand when likely second. E.g., when I encounter a turn raise and have a gut feeling a tight-playing villan hit two pr or slow-played trips, I tend to call down most everytime anyway.

Clearly, it's a judgement call here based on reads, but I often feel a bit hard-headed as I make these calls. Yeah, probably dumb, but I still get nightmarish flashbacks from my TAP'er days when I would get bowled over constantly.
