Bad Beaten
Background information:

I had played four hands on this table including this one:

The first, I missed a 12 out nut straight draw and lost about 1/3 of my stack.
The second was ATTK with a T suited to the A.
The third was AAK6 with an A suited to the 6.
The fourth was AAJ4 with an A suited to the J.

The second I flop a set of 10s on an uncoordinated and win a big pot.

The third I flop garbage and end up folding to heavy betting.

And here's the fourth:

I had not shown down my previous previous hand and I had raised aggressively pre-flop for three hands in a row, so I figured my opponent was making me [censored] or get off the pot.

I ultimately put him on a bluff because I had the J and could not see another logical holding with which he could have called my raise and still be ahead of AA.

Since Bison Bison is being a prick:

what is everyone's view about pushing with the AA preflop?? Playing occasionally at 15c/30c i have come to a decision that i am not going to push too hard at all, it is so easy for some one to catch two pair or in worst case scenario top set..

Maybe your bet on the flop tied you into the hand, Jc 5d 2s does have a possible str8 draw, but i think that even with the overpair on the flop, it still just is one pair, and that just isnt enough to be calling a BIG reraise with, unless of course you are positive the guy is a LAGGY one, and is gambling on his draw...
hope my two cents is of help
Cheer Up Goth =)
